✪ NORMA MILLER VISITS! Sunday, Feb. 14th (yes, Valentine’s Day) Unbelievable opportunity: one of the living legends of Lindy Hop and one of the last surviving members of Whitey’s Lindy Hoppers, is coming to Seattle and Eastside Stomp is proud to host a screening of the documentary of her life, followed by a panel discussion with the lady herself, AND a book signing of her BRAND NEW autobiography, “Swing, Baby, Swing!”  Only $10 for this amazing event.  Details on the EVENTS page!


✪ Dance with us at TUESDAY NIGHT STOMP AND FRIDAY NIGHT STOMP at Kirkland Dance Center, every week.  These are our great weekly dances and they’re growing by the week!  There’s an Absolute Beginner’s swing class at 9pm on Tuesdays and 8:15pm on Fridays that’s included in the admission, and  excellent DJed swing music until midnight!  This is the place to come for lots of friendly dancers and great swing music all night long -- Tell your friends!!!

✪February’s SUNDAY AFTERNOON four-week series classes begin on February 7th!  They are...


  1. •Balboa Level Two, 12pm-1pm,

  2. •Lindy Hop Level Two, 1pm-2pm

  3. •Balboa Level Three, 2pm-3pm

  4. •Lindy Hop Level Three, 3pm-4pm


  6. The classes are $40 for one class for the series (or $12 per class as a drop-in) or you can take two classes at the same level for $60 total!  For ALL the details, including a description of classes and more, check the “Classes” page!


   And just like Fridays, you can join as late as week two...

 

Peter Flahiff is a swing and tap dancer.   He’s been at it since 1993 and teaching since 1995. He does these things as often as he can, wherever he can, for as long as he can.  Peter’s dancing has brought him across the country and around the world as a very highly regarded instructor, DJ, performer, and lecturer, as well as a sought-after lead. He emphasizes the social aspect of lindy hop and clear lead and follow skills. He has taught from LA to  New York, London and Munich.  He has done  some instructional swing videos, radio appearances and helped run some of the nation’s most successful swing venues, among other things. His classes are super fun. Peter is in a state of perpetual  gratitude about doing something so fun for a living.  He plans to do these things as long as he can...
